Mordecai and Rigby work overtime in order make extra money to buy tickets to a concert, but then blindly make a deal with a giant coffee bean and its Japanese translator that quickly backfires on them. Sebastian tells Triton that he is capable of making a deal with the Sharkanians (a race of shark-like merfolk with an attitude that matches), but in truth, he is petrified of them and Ariel and Flounder must tag along to help him make the process go smoothly. Mordecai and Rigby use a magic keyboard (left behind by a wizard who was urinating in a bush) to give them anything they want, but things take a turn for the worst when they accidentally use the keyboard to send Skips (a yeti and the park's resident handyman) to the moon and they must find a way to get him back before a moon monster destroys him. Other coworkers include an overweight green man called Muscle Man, and a ghost called Hi-Five Ghost. This is much to the chagrin of their manager/boss Benson-a gumball machine and their coworker Skips-a yeti, but to the delight of their (other) manager/boss Pops-a man with a lollipop for a head. After events of Tino's Adventures of Regular Show (Pilot short) Tino and his friends join Mordecai and Rigby, as they work as groundskeepers at a state park in Tucker, Georgia (according to Quintel), and spend their days trying to avoid work and entertain themselves by any means.
